Nieuport 17 MM N.2614 flown by captain Francesco Baracca, 91a Squadriglia, Corpo Aereo Italiano, 1917. Francesco Baracca is the first italian ace of WWI, he scored 34 victories. In 1917 he became commander of the famous Squadron of the Aces.

This aircraft was designed and tested using X-Plane 9.55.For an optimal view of the cockpit, set the FOV at 55°.

Thanks to Bertrand Augras for his animated pilot.  Thanks to Vivian Meazza for   the permission to use his Vickers mg. obj. Thanks to Chris Wraight for the original sounds. The Le Rhone rotary engine has been built as an obj and rotates with the propeller.
