L’aereo
Il Savoia Marchetti S.M.79 II Sparviero è il più famoso bombardiere italiano della Seconda guerra mondiale. Soprannominato "Il Gobbo" per la sua caratteristica postazione dorsale, conquistò fama soprattutto nel ruolo di aerosilurante. Questo aereo fu in servizio con la 278 squadriglia, 132 Gruppo Autonomo Aerosiluranti, Regia Aeronautica, basata a Castelvetrano, Sicilia, primavera 1941. Le sue insegne sono quelle di Carlo Emanuele Buscaglia, l'asso degli aerosiluranti italiani.
Il modello è stato realizzato per X-Plane 9.31 in collaborazione con l’amico Don Bush, che ha realizzato il modello 3d, le animazioni e la textures. L’aereo è completamente animato. Nel Readme sono spiegate tutte le funzioni. Per una vista ottimale del cockpit settare il FOV a 55°.

The Savoia Marchetti S.M. 79 Sparviero was the best known italian bomber in WWII, and won fame in its torpedo-bomber role in the Mediterranean Sea. It was dubbed "Il Gobbo" (the Hunchback) because of the shape of the dorsal gunner's fairing. This aircraft was operated by 278 Squadriglia, 132 Gruppo Autonomo Aerosiluranti, Regia Aeronautica, Sicily, Spring 1941. It was the mount of the great ace Carlo Emanuele Buscaglia.
This model has been built for X-Plane 9.31 with my friend Don Bush. who has built the 3d model, the animations and the textures. The plane is fully animated. In the Readme file all the functions are explained. For optimum cockpit view set the FOV at 55°.
