Fiat G.91R-1B operativo nel 1974 nel 103 Gruppo, 2 Stormo dell'Aeronautica Militare Italiana, basato a Treviso. Soprannominato "il piccolo Sabre" per la sua rassomiglianza con il North American F-86D, il Fiat G.91 vinse nel 1955 il concorso Nato per un caccia tattico leggero. Progettato da Giuseppe Gabrielli il G.91 è stato in servizio anche con le forze aeree della Germania e del Portogallo. L’aereo è stato costruito e testato con X-Plane 8.50. This Fiat G.91R-1B was operated in 1974 by 103 Gruppo, 2 Stormo, Aeronautica Militare Italiana, based at Treviso. Dubbed the "baby Sabre" because of the resemblance with the North American F-86D, the Fiat G.91 won in 1955 the Nato competition for a lightweight tactical fighter. Designed by Giuseppe Gabrielli, the G.91 has been in service with the air forces of Italy, Germany and Portugal. The aircraft has been built and tested with X-Plane 8.50.
